Obituary for Eugene Bricker

Eugene Ray Bricker, age 92, of Fort Loudon passed away Sunday evening on February 4, 2018 at his home.
Born April 14, 1925 in Fort Loudon, PA, he was a son of the late Martin L and Ethel Cox Bricker.
Eugene attended and graduated from Fannettsburg High School and later served in the United States Army during World War II in parts of France and Germany. He married Elsie Walck in January of 1947. Eugene worked as a mechanic for Letterkenny Army Depot. He helped start the Bricker Development in Fort Loudon with his father. He was a handy man and enjoyed camping and playing cards. Eugene was a member of the Fort Loudon Ruritan Club, and also a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Fort Loudon where he sang in the choir for many years.
Eugene is survived by his children: Barbara Bricker of Fort Loudon, Bonnie Marks of Pittsburgh, and Greg Bricker of Fort Loudon. Also surviving Eugene are his two grandchildren, Aretha Allen and Phillip Marks Jr. of Pittsburgh, and four great-grandchildren: Taylor, Samantha, Daryan, and Tara, and one great-great grandson, Maxwell.
Eugene is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Walck Bricker, and his son, Ronald Eugene Bricker.
A private service for Eugene will be held at the convenience of the family.
